The Rock Poster Society will be presenting a very special version of our Rock Art By the Bay artists’ show at the Harmony Festival at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds in Santa Rosa, CA on June 10th, 11th, & 12th, 2011.
The Harmony Festival has over the years become a premier music, arts, and cultural festival in Northern California. This year’s version features a stellar lineup of bands including The Flaming Lips, Primus, and Michael Franti & Spearhead, among dozens of others. The festival also features an array of speakers, unique arts, cultural events and exhibits, and of course vendors and food galore.
We’re stoked to have made a special arrangement to present our poster artists event as part of a very special “Arts Pavilion” at the Harmony Festival. We’ll be sharing Harmony Hall with Tribe 13, a nationally known collective of visionary artists. Anyone who’s a fan of rock posters and art will be treated with a special treat for the senses.
Yes, you do need to get tickets to attend the Harmony Festival. Ticket prices will go up at the door the day of event. Tickets can be purchased now at Whole Foods, a complete list of participating stores is available here.
Band Lineups & All General Show Information go to HarmonyFestival.com
Check out the Friday Night “Harmony After Dark” tribute to Owsley show. We’ll have a special one-time exhibit of the art of Jerry Garcia sharing our hall with the poster artists, providing an inspirational vibe for our artists and patrons (not to mention the musicians)!
Hours for Rock Art By The Bay & Tribe 13 are:
Friday June 10th 4:00 pm to 2:00 am
Saturday June 11th 1:00 pm to midnight
Sunday June 12th 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
